How 26cup Evaluates Claims

26cup does not assign hidden editorial scores. Claims are either supported by a visible source and scope, labelled as analysis, or removed.

Evidence status: legacy numeric claims withdrawn where no retained input table, raw output or version record exists.

What this page can support

Official fixtures and results come from the competition organiser. Editorial interpretations must state their publication date and cannot borrow authority from an undocumented model.

Evidence checklist

  1. Authority: prefer the organiser or original document.
  2. Freshness: record when the source was checked.
  3. Scope: do not generalise beyond the source.
  4. Reproducibility: retain inputs and outputs for numeric forecasts.
  5. Correction: date material changes and preserve the pre-event boundary.

Limit of the archive

No product testing, match testing, paid ranking or numerical house score is claimed.

A forecast and an official result are different records. The forecast must remain dated and frozen; the result should come from the competition organiser.
